is organizing this fundraiser
For a child navigating the foster care system, life can feel like a storm, filled with changes in homes, schools, caseworkers, and important relationships. CASA of Fresno and Madera Counties believes every child deserves someone steady in their corner. CASA recruits, trains, and supports Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers who provide a consistent presence in a child’s life, speak up for their needs, and help ensure they have access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to thrive. This year’s theme, Be The Anchor in a Child’s Storm, invites our community to help provide that stability. CASA currently serves 250 local children and youth, while another 150 remain on the waitlist for an Advocate. Funds raised through this campaign will help recruit and train more volunteers, support current Advocates, and expand advocacy services so more children can have a trusted adult consistently standing beside them.
